Laramie County School District #1 - Charter Schools

Applicants shall follow the application process in accordance with Chapter 32, State Statute 21-3-301 through 21-3-314, and the requirements set forth by Laramie County School District #1.

Charter School Application and Renewal Information

All charter school application, renewal and other information can be found on the Wyoming Department of Education charter school website.

Deadline For Application

• Applications to LCSD1 or the Wyoming Department of Education may only be submitted between March 1st and March 31st.

General Information

• The applicant of a charter school shall submit their charter application to the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE).
• The applicant shall identify which authorizer they are submitting their application to.
• If the applicant is submitting their application to Laramie County School District #1, as the authorizer, then the WDE will forward the application to the LCSD#1 Superintendent of Schools.
• The applicant and the Authorizer will then follow Chapter 32 Rules and Regulations and State Statute 21-3-301 through 21-3-314 throughout the application process.
