The district fields multiple physical security components and uses modern technology security systems in support of the safety of our students and staff. We do this through physical security measures, such as locked interior and exterior doors, cameras, alarms, and strict visitor control processes. Additionally, the district employs some of the latest alerting and emergency management technology platforms that improve our ability to alert our students and staff during emergencies.

We share a common goal of keeping the students and staff safe, both at school and in our community. You can help by having a conversation with your children about the importance of speaking with a trusted adult when they see or hear something concerning. Moreover, our schools routinely practice for emergencies by holding fire drills, shelter in place drills, and lockdown drills, among others. Please remind your children the drills are important, and the purpose is to help keep them safe.
