Dec. 8—Oliver Fournier

Oliver Fournier, an eighth grade student at Johnson Junior High, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Dec. 8.
Fournier was selected for his diligence, academic performance and exemplary attendance. He is enrolled in all honors classes and maintains a 4.0 GPA.
Fournier is known for being a leader, hard-working, and funny. He runs cross country, consistently placing in the top 10, and plays Sting soccer and Capitals hockey. He is also a member of the school’s concert orchestra.
“Oliver is everything that you could ask for in a student, athlete and ambassador for the school,” said Johnson cross country coach Joe Brisbois.
Fournier selected Ken Johnson as his favorite teacher because of the educational environment Johnson creates.
