March 9—Joseph Jack

Joseph Jack, a senior at Triumph High School, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of March 9.
Jack was selected for his strong work ethic, leadership and kindness towards others. He is known for consistently going the extra mile and for being willing to help classmates and staff whenever needed.
“Joe is a great example of the strong, silent type, but is always willing to help a friend in need,” Triumph culinary teacher Vonna Webb said.
Jack is a teacher’s assistant for multiple teachers and is a member of the Spartan Catering Team. According to his teacher, Jack has a special talent for baking and is able to read a recipe and bring it to life with ease. He has earned the nickname, “Joe, the Dough King” for his skill in preparing a wide variety of bread doughs. Over the past two years, he has played a key role in many culinary treats and catering events.
Jack selected Vonna Webb as his favorite teacher because she emphasizes cooking carefully and safely, and is always willing to listen and offer guidance when students need support.
