Janet Edwards, a Human Resources technician at Laramie County School District 1, has been selected for the Board Employee Spotlight for the month of August. She was recognized on Monday, Aug.18 at 6 p.m. in the Storey Gym Boardroom, 2811 House Ave.

Edwards has been a dedicated LCSD1 employee for 24 years. 

According to her nomination form, Edwards is known for her positive attitude, loyalty and thorough approach to her work. She is a resource when questions arise regarding the district’s time and attendance system. Her knowledge of the system allows her to resolve issues quickly and guide others in understanding how it works.

 “Janet is always so helpful and incredibly thorough,” Human Resources Director Jen Sumner-Brownhill said. “Her positive personality and sense of humor make working with her a joy.”
