Dr. Amy Kassel, secondary mathematics coordinator at Laramie County School District 1, has been selected for the Board Employee Spotlight for the month of September. She was recognized on Monday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Storey Gym Boardroom, 2811 House Ave. 

Kassel has been a dedicated LCSD1 employee for more than 20 years. 

According to her nomination form, Kassel is known for her professionalism and commitment to high quality mathematics instruction in secondary schools. She has high expectations for students, and she promotes collaboration and community with principals and teachers. She is highly respected by her peers.  

“Dr. Kassel cares about students and goes the extra mile to ensure student success,” Central Principal Dr. Karen Delbridge said.
