Parent Updates

District unveils updated website

Officials at Laramie County School District 1 are excited to announce the launch of the district’s newly designed website, www.laramie1.org.
Earlier in the school year, LCSD1 switched to a new mass-communications platform, ParentSquare. The website is the second phase of this transition.

Built on ParentSquare’s Smart Sites platform, the new website offers a fresh look, improved navigation, and greater accessibility to better serve students, families and the community.

The new website offers:
  • Streamlined navigation so visitors can easily find news, events and essential resources
  • Built-in accessibility tools to meet ADA standards and support all users
  • Mobile responsiveness for a seamless experience on any device
  • Integrated communication features through the district’s school-home communications platform, ParentSquare

“Our website refresh is a highly visible piece of the district’s efforts to advance engagement with our community,” Superintendent Dr. Stephen Newton said. “We believe this will help strengthen our communication and foster stronger school-family partnerships.”

Notable updates include an events calendar that syncs with school schedules, easier access to lunch menus, bus routes, and a modern, consistent design across all pages and devices. It also includes automatic language translation in more than 100 languages.
